My Story

  Disclaimer

Unlike some in the active ex-JW community, I make no claims that my endeavor with this website is directed by Jehovah or Jesus, I am only moved by my Bible trained conscience to help my PIMO brothers and sisters to remain faithful to Jehovah under extremely difficult circumstances. Thus, my articles and commentaries are from personal understanding and opinions based on decades of experience as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and from my in depth study of God’s word. I make no claim of being “Spirit directed” although, I prayerfully request daily Holy Spirit from Jehovah to be in harmony with his word! I make no personal claims of “watchman” or “prophet status” nor do I possess any Biblical scholarship credentials. I am a fellow Christian brother secretly identifying not as PIMO being physically mentally out, but as PISA physically in scripturally awake. I do experience the same fear, despair, anxiety, frustration, the feeling of being trapped, and at times alone with no-one to share what I have learned! I, like many of you, are “out of the cell but remain in the prison” of the JW organization and feel compelled to form this community for the benefit of those who are in the same situation, remaining loyal to Jehovah and his word during the time the Man of Lawlessness is fully revealed within God’s household of worshippers as prophesied.

Alias Beroean’s Creed

As a flawed worshipper of Jehovah, (YHWH) and doing my best to be a faithful disciple of his Son Jesus (Yeshua) our Savior, I have been made aware of the JW organizations apostacy for over a decade, baptized for over five decades, and currently in good standing in the congregation, (refusing to serve as an Elder again) and like most brothers, I’ve had so called “privileges” from microphone handler to Elder/ pioneer / WT conductor etc. I currently have immediate family members who remain as “captives to a concept” unaware of God’s judgement coming upon his named people, but making progress with them. 1Peter 4:17,18

I do not consider myself an activist or reformist attempting to change or bring down the JW organization as that will take place by Jehovah at his appointed time. I believe Jehovah and Jesus, the true head of the congregation, are fully aware of what is taking place with his people, in fact, it was prophesied by the apostle Paul so, we should not be surprised, and we must remain obedient and patient. ( Micah 7:7 ) Those who are now worshipping God with “spirit and truth” are not required to expose (on YouTube and other types of media) the terrible things that bring reproach on God’s name. That said, Jehovah has allowed ones who have not only left the congregation, but his worship as well, to accomplish the waking up of those who now claim PIMO status. (more on this in later blogs) Some may disagree with this, but remember God can use anyone, even pagan unbelievers, to accomplish his will. ( ex. Cyrus, and King Nebuchadnezzar )

I readily admit this has been the most challenging time of my life, and I suspect most of you who have landed here are experiencing the same depression, anger, fear, at times loss of faith, and I understand some have entertained thoughts of harming themselves! All would agree that only a fellow Jehovah’s Witnesses can truly relate to this dilemma we find ourselves, and although there is not any statistics available, I suspect there are thousands of loyal servants of God currently going through this fear inspired human phenomenon known as PIMO within the congregations of Jehovah’s Witnesses worldwide.

My present state of mind after over a decade of re-examining JW doctrines has created a new goal or purpose for the remainder of my time within the congregation, and that purpose in forming this community is to support my brothers & sisters who identify as PIMO to keep their faith in the outworking of Jehovah’s purposes and not to abandon their relationship with him, trusting he is absolutely aware of and in control of what is taking place within the JW organization that carries his Holy name.

The cult like shenanigans of the JW organization forces us to be “mentally in” not “mentally out” as we each contemplate how our situation within this organization could work out, each pondering the fact that there are limited options for those who are determined to serve Jehovah “in spirit and truth” ( John 4:23 ) during this time of the Man of Lawlessness being exposed within God’s Spiritual Temple.

Our Options as I see them.

1-disassociate on your terms.

2- disfellowshipped (now “removed”) as an apostate.

3- Gradually fade out of the congregation.

4-stay as long as possible until you are “found out” in order to reach as many as possible, especially any family. Some may even decide to continue to “wait on Jehovah” (Micah 7:7; Rev 2;24,25) aware that Jehovah prophesied that “the apostacy must take place first” before the end, and recorded as a warning for us ( 1 Corinthians 10:11 )

Thomas Pane

“It is necessary to the happiness of man that he be mentally faithful to himself, infidelity does not consist in believing, or in disbelieving, it consist in professing to believe what he does not believe.”
